The University of Tokyo AI and Semiconductor Course: Excellence Award
I completed the AI and Semiconductor Course 2025 Summer and received an Excellence Award for my performance in the course.
From August to October 2025, I attended the AI and Semiconductor Course 2025 Summer, co-hosted by the Systems Design Research Center (d.lab) and the Matsuo-Iwasawa Lab at The University of Tokyo. I received an Excellence Award for my performance.
Course content
The course covered hardware and software for AI computation, including processor and circuit design, GPU and FPGA architectures, CUDA, and cloud-based FPGA exercises.
I took the course to strengthen the hardware side of my background. My research applies machine learning to semiconductor device modeling, so understanding the computing platforms used for AI provides useful context for that work.
